When you click into archives make sure you select the post archives option and not the stories archives one. From there you can view all your archives. To view it in your archives, click the three lines in the top right-hand corner of your profile. The picture will now be hidden from your grid. Clicking on the three dots in the top right-hand corner, select the archive option. I chose a recent one on my grid because I just couldn’t bare scaring your eyes with one of my first posts from back in the day. So, if you want to learn how to hide posts, here’s a step to step guide.įirst things first (I’m the realest) you’ll need to choose which picture you want to hide. You never know when we might get accepted to go on Love Island and we need to rid our feeds of any incriminating content (namely that snap of our dodgy-looking eyebrows from 2018). We all have those pictures that we love but just don’t want on our feeds anymore, so we’ve v relieved to have the option to keep them there, but just out of people’s view. So, instead of uploading and deleting the same picture multiple times until you get the filter spot on, you can just archive the snap, temporarily hiding it from your followers. It is of course hiding Instagram posts from your grid. For years we’ve been asking Instagram for an update on some of their features, while they haven’t sorted out all of them (when will they give us a search bar on stories?!), they have changed one thing, and it’s a pretty handy update to know.
